At the top of Midsummer Hill, this hide is built in memory of Captain Reginald Somers-Cocks MC. He was serving with the 7th Bn., Somerset Light Infantry when he was killed on 24 April 1918. He is buried in the Lijssenthoek military cemetery in Belgium
