There are two war memorials at the church in Hensies.

A war memorial commemorates the military and civilian casualties of the First World War.
Text on the monument (translation): "TO THE VICTIMS OF THE WAR / 1914 – 1918 / THE COMMUNITY OF HENSIES / GRATEFUL".
Soldiers: BAUDUIN Norbert-Joseph, Gonfreville-l'Orcher (F), 11 December 1915 ; DEHENNE Isidore, Sint-Michiels-Bruges 7 November 1918 ; FLORIMOND Robert ; LAMPS Henri ; MEREAU Auguste François, Wandre 5 August 1914 ; TOURNAY Emile-Henry, Halen 12 August 1914.
Deportees: SANDRA François-Charles; PLACE Charles; PARENT Adolphe-Joseph ; POPULAR Omer
Citizens : BAUDUIN Marie-Louise; DAMIEN Louis-Joseph; THE BERGHIES Telesphore-Amand ; DELVAUX Victor ; LELEUX Nestor ; TIBERT Paul ; TOURNAY Louise-Desiree

The second memorial commemorates the fallen soldiers and resistance fighters of the Second World War.
KOWALEZYK Joseph, resistance fighter, shot in France at the age of 18; ALLARD Maurice, political prisoner, died in captivity in Flossenburg (D) on April 15, 1945; POTIER Gaston, resistance fighter, shot at Jumet on 22 June 1944; RAYEZ Marcel, soldier-corporal, killed in action in Nevele on 26 May 1940; LESAGE Robert, soldier, killed in action at Peuplingues (F) on 24 May 1940.
