Mass Grave Bombardment Würzburg

Near the Würzburg cemetery, 4000 of the 5000 victims of the bombing of 16 March 1945 (Bombennacht Würzburg) are buried in a mass grave. Most of them are unidentified.
The original design is by the sculptor Fried Heuler.
In 2017, 32 glass plates with the names of 1663 identified victims were placed.
