Silbersee Nürnberg
The Silbersee originated in the excavations of the foundations of the Deutsches Stadion. After the construction works were stopped as a result of the outbreak of war, the excavations were flooded with water. The Deutsches Stadion, designed by Albert Speer, should accommodate 400,000 spectators and become the largest stadium in the world.
