Foundationremains Märzfeld
The Märzfeld would become a large maneuver area for the Wehrmacht with an area of more than 80 football fields and with stands that would accommodate 250,000 spectators. Due to the outbreak of war, the work was stopped. Only eleven of the 24 Märzfeld towers were ready at that time. After the war, these towers were demolished to make way for a residential area. During construction work in 2016, foundation remains of a grandstand were found.
