Belgian War Graves Cuesmes

The cemetery in Cuesmes contains the graves of military and civilian victims of the Second World War.
These are, among others, the graves of CARLIER Emile, Oostrozebeke 26 May 1940; PONSARD Hadelin, Overijse 20 May 1940; FRANCOIS Robert, Antwerp 18May 1940; RUELLE Georges, Adegem 26 May 1940.
In the family tomb DECRUCQ-ROUSSEAU rest the brothers DECRUCQ. Jean and Albert DECRUCQ were resistance fighters, members of the Front de l'Indépendance. They were murdered by the Germans at Cuesmes on 3 September 1944.
