War Memorial Weseke

In Weseke, municipality of Borken, on the edge of the municipality, a monument was erected in 1930. It was first rebuilt in 1967 and completely renovated in 2016.
Plaques with the names of those who died in the First World War are carved into the 4 inside corners.
In the rear, so-called altar room, there is an acrylic glass plaque with the names of those who were killed and missing in World War II. In the center a pedestal with an image of a person with a corpse on her lap. This statue was created by sculptor Heinrich Bäumer senior from Munster.
