Memorial for Municipal Staff

In the stairwell in the old part of the town hall hangs a memorial plaque for the municipal employees, who were deported and died in Germany during the Second World War.

"In memory of Messrs Albert Laroche and Jean Vanhorenbeeck, members of the municipal council, Georges Lejeune, municipal secretary, and Messrs Dominique Zeimet, police officer, René Zimmer, cemetery supervisor,
died in Germany, victims of Nazi barbarism"
