German War Graves Old Cemetery Gemen

German War Graves Old Cemetery GemOn the side of the cemetery, there is a monument and a row of war graves with the well-known modest stone crosses on the old cemetery of Gemen. the part of the cemetery is a bit closed off/secluded from the rest of the cemetery on the left (seen from the front of the cemetery) and has its own entrance gate with a wrought iron cross in it.

The memorial stands at the end of a lane with crosses/graves of 18 soldiers who died at the end of March/beginning of April 1945.
The monument consists of a small sandstone building with an inscription inside at the rear;
"The dead in honor, the living in warning.
1914-1918
1939-1945"

In front of this monument in the street work is a circle with an iron cross in it.

To the left of the monument is a wall with plaques bearing the names of those who lost their lives in both world wars.
