Bloc 1 Ouvrage Velosnes

Velosnes is an artillery ouvrage of the Maginot Line in the Montmédy sector. It was built from 1934 to 1939.
Block 1 had a tourelle (lifting turret) with two machine guns and a 25mm anti-tank gun. During the war the Germans dismantled this ouvrage; part of the tourelle from block 1 remains.
