Monument to the Heroes of the Engineer Troops

This memorial commemorates the fallen soldiers who fought as Engineers during the First World War.
On the sides of the monument are 4 statues depicting the following soldiers:
• A sapper
• A Pontoon Bridge Builder
• A soldier of the signal corps
• A soldier of the railroad troops

On the monument is the following text:
"Spuneți
generațiilor viitoare
că noi am făcut suprema jertfă
pe câmpurile de bătaie
pentru întregirea neamului"

This means:
"Tell future generations that we made the supreme sacrifice on the battlefields for the entire nation"

An interesting detail is that the lion stands with his foot on a cannon, over which is draped a flag with a German Pickelhelm
