Ko Chang Naval Battle Memorial

Monument for the sea battle of Ko Chang on 17 January 1941 during the Franco-Thai War.
HTMS Chang and HTMS Songhla were sunk and HTMS Thonburi was heavily damaged by the Vichy France navy vessels.

On this site there is a visitor's room in the shape of a ship, marble plates with the descriptions of the naval battle are mounted on the surrounding rocks and there is a small altar on the beach in memory of the victims.
