Memorial Liberation of Split and Fallen Soldiers 1921 - 1996

On the side wall of the old town hall are 2 memorials.

The one on the left commemorates the liberation of the city by Tito’s Army on October 26th, 1944, by expelling the occupiers.

The plate on the right commemorates all the Croatian defenders that gave their life when defending their home country from 1921 until 1996.
