Memorial Angel of Peace

This Angel of Peace commemorates the Russian, Romanian, Italian and Serbian soldiers who lived in the Prisoner of war camp in the outskirts of Esztergom during World War 1. According to the monument approximate 3500 Soldiers died because of diseases, injuries and exhaustion during this time.
