Information Sign "De Bril"
This sign tells about this area called "De Bril". It also refers to the American soldiers Dick Hosler and George Bower, who were shot at by a German machine gun here in their jeep on 20 September 1944. Dick Hosler was killed on the spot, George Bower died shortly afterwards in hospital.
