Memorial Cardiff Blitz 2nd January 1941

Memorial to all who were killed in the bombing of Cardiff , Wales and who are buried at Cathays cemetery in Cardiff.
The heaviest raid was on 2nd January 1941 when 165 people were killed and 350 homes were destroyed.
In this cemetery are also the graves of four Norwegian merchant seamen who were killed when a building in the docks area of Cardiff took a direct hit.
