Fortress Dendermonde Bastion IV

During the Dutch period, the new fortress of Dendermonde was part of the Wellington barrier, realized under the leadership of English and especially Dutch engineers between 1816 and 1830 as border defense of the Allies (Great Britain and the Netherlands) against France.
