Widerstandsnest 159 Erika II

The construction of the radio navigation station started in the late summer of 1941 and was completed a year later. It consisted out of the following structures : (6) SK Funksendstation, (2) SK Generator, SK Kommandostand and six FuG 121 "Erika Bord" antennas.
The crew consisted of Luftwaffe personnel, more precisely Abteilung II, Luftgau Nachrichten Regiment 12.
The site was bombed several times and was finally abandoned on June 21st, 1944 when the crew withdrew to "Festung Cherbourg".
The bunkers are all on private land but are easy to view from the small road.
