Naval Auxiliary Air Station Barin Field

This originally pre-war civilian airport was taken over by the U.S. shortly after the outbreak of the Second World War. Navy. During the war it was an auxiliary airfield for NAS, Chevalier. After the war, the Naval Station became a normal airfield again, although the so-called 'East Field' is still used by the Navy.
