Blythe Airport

Blythe Airport was built as Blythe Army Air Field during World War II. The airfield has been used by the 4th AF as a CAMA training ground. The 46th and 34th Bomb Groups were stationed here. Later in the war, Blythe became a sub-base of Muroc AAF.
