Kaiser Steel Mill

Kaiser Steel Mill was founded on December 1, 1941 with the financial support of the US government. The factory was run by Henry Kaiser. During World War II, much of the factory's output was consumed by the seven Kaiser Shipyards and the California Shipbuilding Corporation, which built hundreds of Liberty ships and Victory ships during World War II.
