Memorial Killed NS Employee

This plaque commemorates the railway employee from Aalten, Wilhelmus Petrus de Graaff who was killed during the Second World War int he bombardment at Nijmegen on February 22nd, 1944.

Many of these plaques are placed at railway stations in the Netherlands. This plaque has a different model. This is a thick bronze plate in which the handwritten text is made. Generally it is a thin bronze plate containing an embossed text.
