Naval Outlying Landing Field Imperial Beach (Ream Field)

Naval Outlying Landing Field Imperial Beach was active as a bare-bones army airfield before World War I. The Navy took over the field after the war and used it for training purposes. Shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the airport became a subbase of NAS San Diego. From 1943 the naval air station was fully operational. The base is still in use today.
