Turlock Assembly Center

Turlock Assembly Center was a transit camp for ethnic Japanese between April 30 and August 12, 1942. At its peak, the camp housed 3661 civilians. Turlock Assembly Center was taken over by the Army's 9th Service Command on August 24, 1942.
