Southern California Logistics Airport

Southern California Logistics Airport was established in June 1941 as an AAF training base under the name Air Corps Advanced Flying School. The name was changed to Bombardiers' School in February 1942 and Victorville Army Air Field in April 1943. The base was renamed George Air Force Base in 1950 and finally closed in the 1990s.
