Belgian War Graves Moerbeke-Waas

The cemetery in Moerbeke-Waas contains the graves of military victims of the First World War.
PIETERS Jozef, Pervijze 15 May 1915
David HONORE, Gent 12 August 1918.
There is the grave of the brothers Edmond and Karel VERSCHRAEGEN, resistance fighters of the First World War. They were sentenced to death by the Germans for espionage and executed in Gent on 18 May 1918.
There are also the graves of VANDESTEENE Roger, resistance fighter, who died during the liberation of Moerbeke-Waas on 15 September 1944, and VAN OOTEGEM Louis, victim of V1 on 24 March 1945.
