Belgian War Grave Sainte-Marie-Chevigny

The old municipal cemetery of Ste.Marie contains the grave of LOUIS Cyrille, a fallen soldier of the Second World War.

Cyrille Louis was born on June 23, 1907.
He was a soldier in the 4th reg. Ardennes Hunters.
On May 26, 1940, he was fatally hit by shrapnel during heavy fighting for the Leie in Gottem (Deinze).
