Crash Site B-17 Boot's Hill

This monument was erected in honor of the crew of the B-17 of the USAAF (8th AF 96th BG 336th BS) that crashed on Keranpres on May 17th 1943 and in gratitude to the inhabitants of Chateauneuf-du-Faou, Landeleau, Plonevez-du-Faou, who helped US and British aviators during the 1939-1945 war.
