In the night of 12/13 August Operation Loyton will start from England.
15 men and their equipment, weapons and food are dropped on landing zone 'Atanomie'. The SAS+F Phantom group (12 men, Chief of Mission: Capt Druce, often referred to as Draken):
- 2nd SAS (7 men): Captain Druce, Lieutenant Dill, Captain de Lesseps (French, alias "Goodfellow", interpreter), Sergeant Hay, Sergeant Rudolf Friedlander (alias Lodge), pc Crossfield, pc Hall
-F Phantom (5 men): Captain Hislop, Sergeant Davis, PC Stanley, PC Johnston, PC Sulivan

The SOE Jed Jacob group (3 men, Chief of Mission: Capt Gough):
– Capt Gough, Capt Boissarie (French, aka Barraud), Sgt Seymour (radio)
