Machine Gun Bunker A Sector Eigenbilzen-Briegden

Machine gun bunker A is one of four bunkers on top of the canal embankment along the Albert Canal. The bunkers were built two by two in mirror position along the former railroad. The bunkers for 1 machine gun were so placed to give cross fire in the direction of the Albert Canal.

It is the first bunker in a total of 6 bunkers (A-F) in this sector.
