German 1st War Cemetery Montaigu

This cemetery gathers 633 bodies buried in individual graves marked by stone stelae placed on the ground. On these stelae are engraved the names of the soldiers and their service numbers only.

The men buried in this place are combatants of the Chemin des Dames, mainly in April and May 1917, May 1918 and September and October 1918.
