Underground City Naours

This underground city was inhabited since the Middle Ages. During 1914-1918 this was a shelter for the allied troops. More than 2,000 signatures have been carved into the caves, many by Australian soldiers.

In World War II this was used by the Germans. There is an exhibition about the graffiti and the research that is still being carried out. You can walk around freely in the city with an audio guide.
