War Memorial WWI Kocsér

In 1924, the city erected a monument to its 172 heroes, which was inaugurated on July 27, 1924. The work of Károly Székely (1880-1941) shows a soldier going into battle with a national flag and rifle in closed clothing and with firm, determined features. The names of the heroic dead are engraved on the side walls.
