Memorials Basilica Notre Dame

On one of the columns (side of the organ) of the Notre Dame Basilica in Boulogne-sur-Mer hangs a plaque commemorating the more than 1 million inhabitants of the British Empire who died during the First World War, most of whom died in France has his or her final resting place.
