Grant's Tomb (General Grant National Memorial)
Grant's Tomb is the final resting place for General and US President Ulysses Grant and his wife. The monument was built between 1892-1897. Grant's remains were laid here on April 17, 1897. The monument itself was officially dedicated on April 27.
