Memorial Fallen and Missing of Lovrin Romania

In the cemetery at the Heilig Kreuz Kirche in Donauworth is a memorial stone that commemorates the fallen and missing of the city of Lovrin in Romania.
Many German descendants lived in Lovrin in the past.

On the stone is the following text:

With thanks to the Sponsor city of Donauwörth
commemorate them Hometown community Lovrin/Banat
in reverence and faithfulness of their dead,
the victims of settlement in the 18th century,
of the two world wars and imprisonment,
the escape in 1944, the deportation from Russia in 1945,
forced resettlement in the Bargan steppe in 1951
as well as the deceased compatriots all over the world.

Rest on the dead - peace on the living!
