Memorial Norwegian Royal Navy

"For the King, the Fatherland and the Flag's honour through five centuries.
In memory of all who served in the Joint Fleet 1510-1814 and in the Royal Norwegian Navy 1814-1945".

Per Palle Storm's statue "Orlogsgasten", unveiled by King Harald 1992.

It is customary that a wreath is laid at this monument by visiting naval ships.

This monument has a twin, also unveiled by King Harald in June 2004, in Hermanville-sur Mer, Normandy to commemorate the loss of the KNM Svenner on 6 June 1944.
