We were children, adolescents, witnesses to these dark years, deprived of loved ones: prisoners, deportees, conscripts, resistance fighters...

To the brave American soldiers of the Big Red One Div who gave us our freedom on June 13, 1944, and to all Allied troops, we remain infinitely grateful.

Let's not forget them!"
