War Memorial Ellen

Next to St. Thomas Church, this memorial is placed in the form of a bell. The cast bell is attached to a stone and was placed in 1921 to commemorate the victims of the First World War. The 20 names of the victims are inscribed on the bell which is also now inscribed on the first of the three plaques. The other plaques feature names of victims of both World Wars.
