Memorial Horsa Glider
Memorial to Glider Pilots Regiment inside of village hall.
The Glider Pilot regiment was formed in 1942 and its firstt Head Quarters was in Tilshead and the unit was based in a tented camp just North of the village before moving to Fargo Camp near Larkhill in September 1943.
