Leamington Spa was bombed several times during WW2 and 13 were killed.
Friday 23rd August 1940 at 11.40- no deaths
Saturday 19th October 1940 at 19.50- fatal injury Hilda Wormell
Thursday 14th November 1940 at 23.40- Night of the Coventry Blitz. 6 deaths: Edward and George Antrobus, Frederick Bay, Stafford Hammond, Thomas Landles, Charles Welch. Annie Freeman also died in Lillington.
Tuesday 8th April 1941 at 21.45- no deaths
Saturday 13th June 1942 at 13.06- Walter Williams fatally injured.
Thursday 16th July 1942 at 06.21. 4 deaths, Robert Baskott, Reginald Kitchener,
Frederick Pike and Ronald Smith.
