Bunker BV 20-2 Pepinster

This is Bunker BV 20-2 at the road to Pepinster.

Bunker BV 20-2 is part of the sector Becco-Vesdre (BV) of the 1st line of defense for de city of Liège, la Position Fortifiée de Liège (PFL 1) and belongs to fort Tancrémont.

Becaus of heavy overgrowth wit ivy the bunker was not easy fot find and perfectly camouflaged.. Because of its square shape I eventialy found it.

When after the war the bunker were no longer in use for the defence of Belgium, the iron door and shutters were sold as scrap. The entrance of the bunker is 3 m. below ground level.
