Russian War Grave Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont

The cemetery of Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont contains the grave of a Russian prisoner of war. It concerns Emelian Dmitrievich Faleev, born in 1903 in the Artëmovsk district, Stalin province (Donetsk). Faleev was captured on 15 May 1942 and sent to a labor camp located in 1942-1944 on the outskirts of Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont, near the Sainte-Catherine mine shaft (Stalag VI K 326).
