German Bunker Schagen
Due to work on the train track on 17-11-2023, after blackberry bushes had been removed, this German bunker became visible. It would concern a so-called "Tobruk" bunker. During the war years 1940-1945, the Germans built approximately 100 bunkers in and around Schagen, of which few remain.
