Graves Bomb Casualties Erfurt Ehrenhain 2

At Hauptfriedhof Erfurt there are several Fields of Honor for victims of World War II.

Field of Honor (Ehrenhain) 2 was established during the war for victims of the bombing of Erfurt.

This field contains granite grave crosses bearing the names of the 784 victims buried here.

The monument inscribed "Die Toten Mahnen" dates from 1958.
