Memorial Plates Slotermeer Tineke Guilonard Bridge

This bridge spans the Burgemeester van Tienhovengracht and was named the "Tineke Guilonard Bridge" in 2016. Tineke Wibaut-Guilonard (1922-1996) was a member of the resistance group CS-6 and survived several Concentration Camps after she was arrested. The information board placed near the bridge briefly tells her life story.

In Amsterdam, under the motto "Give Streets a Face", streets are provided with panels with the portrait of the namesake plus a short life course. In this way they want to give streets more personality. The initiator is Paul Fennis.

This is also the case in the Verzetsheldenbuurt in Slotermeer.
