Belgian War Graves Journal

There are two war graves at the Journal cemetery.

Fernand GENON, warden at the Gendarmerie on Horseback, stationed in Calais during the war. In October 1918 he was hospitalized due to illness in the Belgian Military Hospital in Calais, where he died on November 7. He was 28 years old.
Initially he was buried in Calais, later reburied in his native village of Journal.

Gustave GEORIS, died for his country in Tours on May 27, 1940. He was 22 years old.
Initially buried there, reburied in Journal in 1946.
