Peace Tree Sint-Lievens-Houtem
A Peace Tree was planted at the cemetery of St. Lievens-Houtem in 2018, an initiative of the Flemish Government in the context of 2014-18 - 100 years of the Great War.
"This peace tree was planted in 2018 as a memorial to
the end of the First World War on November 11, 1918.
Let us never forget yesterday's victims.And let
Today and tomorrow we work together more than ever for the
peace, freedom and human rights"
