Memorial "Peace Table" Bredene
The monument "Peace Table" was designed by Paul Perneel. It was inaugurated in 2000.
The artwork consists of three separate but fitting natural stone blocks supported by concrete columns.
It is surrounded by shrubs and located in a lawn.
The inscription is on the accompanying bluestone slab
"TABLE OF PEACE (2000)
PAUL PERNEEL
PEACE IS NOT GAINED ON THE BATTLEFIELD,
AT THE NEGOTIATION TABLE."
