Memorial Deported Inhabitants of Marcinelle

The municipal cemetery contains a monument for the residents of Marcinelle who died in one of the various camps.

The monument consists of a stele with a detail of a camp fence with barbed wire in the front.
At the front is a memorial stone with the following inscription:
"MARCINELLE
To his children
Defender of the homeland
1940 -1945"
